Floor Supervisor

Job Description

The Floor Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations on an assigned guestroom floor, ensuring rooms and public areas meet Shangri-La cleanliness and presentation standards. Typical requirements include previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, attention to detail, good communication skills, and familiarity with room inspections and hotel operating procedures. The successful candidate is expected to allocate tasks, check completed rooms, handle guest requests and maintenance reports, coach room attendants, control supplies, and coordinate closely with Front Office and Engineering. A professional appearance, reliable work ethic, flexibility for shifts, and the ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment are essential. Cantonese, English, or Mandarin ability may be advantageous.
