Job Description

The Demi Chef – Bakery (Overnight) supports the bakery and pastry team by preparing breads, pastries, cakes and other baked products during overnight shifts. Candidates should have formal culinary or bakery training, relevant hotel, bakery or pastry experience, and a sound understanding of recipes, mixing, proofing, baking and food-safety standards. The role requires good knife and equipment-handling skills, attention to detail, cleanliness and the ability to maintain consistent quality under time pressure. Shangri-La expects a reliable, disciplined team member who can work independently at night, follow production schedules, minimize waste and communicate effectively with colleagues.
