Public Area Supervisor

Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor oversees the cleanliness, presentation and maintenance of hotel public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms and recreational areas. Typical requirements include relevant experience in hotel housekeeping or public-area cleaning, supervisory skills, good communication and knowledge of hygiene and safety standards. The candidate is expected to lead and train team members, allocate duties, inspect completed work, coordinate with other departments, respond promptly to guest requests and maintain Shangri-La’s service standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required. Cantonese and English communication skills, a professional appearance and strong attention to detail would be advantageous.
