Duties typically include supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, purchase planning, price comparison, vendor performance monitoring, inventory coordination and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain, hospitality management, business or a related field, together with several years of purchasing experience, preferably in hotels or resorts. Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and supplier-management skills are expected. Familiarity with procurement systems, Microsoft Office and local market practices is useful. The successful candidate should be organised, commercially aware, ethical, service-focused and able to work with multiple departments and properties.
