Company Info

Shangri-La is a Hong Kong-founded luxury hospitality group operating hotels, resorts, residences, and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Africa. The brand is known for personalised service, refined accommodation, strong attention to detail, and its Asian-inspired tradition of hospitality. Its properties range from urban business hotels to destination resorts, serving leisure travellers, corporate guests, groups, and high-end events. Shangri-La places emphasis on guest satisfaction, colleague development, responsible business practices, and creating a warm, distinctive service culture. In the United Arab Emirates, the group operates luxury properties in key destinations and competes in a highly international market where corporate partnerships, meetings, incentives, and premium leisure demand are important sources of business.

Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the broadest hospitality and corporate job markets. Opportunities are available in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism, aviation, retail, and business services. The culture is multicultural and professional, while Islamic traditions influence public conduct, holidays, and dress expectations. Lifestyle options range from beaches, desert activities, and shopping to galleries, dining, and international entertainment. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing for overseas hires; candidates should not work on a tourist visa. Relocation packages vary and may include housing, transport, flights, insurance, and schooling support. Costs are highest in Dubai and central Abu Dhabi, so accommodation benefits and commuting arrangements should be confirmed before accepting an offer.
