Assistant Financial Controller

Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the hotel’s financial operations, reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with senior management and department heads. Typical requirements include a degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance, relevant experience in hotel finance or a similar hospitality environment, and strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and taxation. Familiarity with hotel systems, Microsoft Excel and accounting software is expected. The successful candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented and commercially aware, with the ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and Hong Kong regulations. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills are important, as the role may supervise finance team members and support audits.
