Japan offers employment opportunities in logistics, technology, manufacturing, tourism, healthcare, education, and international business. Major job markets include Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and regional logistics hubs. Japanese workplace culture generally values punctuality, teamwork, respect, careful communication, and consistent service. Daily life is safe and convenient, with excellent public transport, reliable services, and varied housing costs; Tokyo is expensive, while regional cities are usually more affordable. Summers can be hot and humid, and Japan is exposed to earthquakes and typhoons. Employers may support sponsorship, but requirements differ. Before relocating, arrange a residence card, address registration, health insurance, pension, bank account, and mobile service. Japanese ability greatly improves job prospects and everyday integration.
