A Driver’s Mate supports the delivery driver with loading, unloading and transporting parcels or freight safely and efficiently. Requirements typically include physical fitness, the ability to handle heavy items, good communication skills, punctuality and a willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts. Previous experience in delivery, warehouse or customer-facing work is useful but may not be essential.
