The 7.5T Home Delivery Driver is responsible for safely driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle, delivering furniture, parcels or other goods to customers’ homes, and completing deliveries efficiently and courteously. Applicants generally need a valid UK Category C1 driving licence, a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), a digital tachograph card and a good driving record. Previous multi-drop, home delivery or commercial driving experience is desirable. The role requires physical fitness for lifting and handling goods, strong route-planning skills, punctuality and attention to vehicle safety. DHL expects drivers to provide excellent customer service, represent the company professionally, follow transport regulations and work flexibly, including early starts, weekends or overtime when required.
