Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers strong opportunities in logistics, freight, warehousing, manufacturing, technology, healthcare and professional services. Major employment centres include London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow and Belfast, while transport roles are available nationwide. British workplace culture generally values punctuality, clear communication, personal responsibility and respect for privacy. Lifestyle ranges from busy urban living to quieter rural communities, with good public transport in major cities and varied housing costs. EU and other overseas applicants must check their right to work before relocating. A Skilled Worker visa normally requires an eligible occupation, an approved sponsor and a qualifying salary; standard HGV driving roles may not qualify, so sponsorship should be confirmed directly with DHL. Applicants need appropriate licensing and may need to meet UK driving requirements.
