Destination Guide

Japan offers strong opportunities in technology, digital marketing, tourism, finance, manufacturing, education, healthcare, and customer support. Tokyo has the largest job market, while Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Sendai offer growing regional opportunities and generally lower living costs. Japanese workplace culture values punctuality, preparation, teamwork, respect, and clear communication. Daily life is safe and convenient, with excellent public transport, reliable services, and diverse food and leisure options. Sapporo provides a relaxed urban lifestyle, snowy winters, outdoor activities, and relatively affordable housing compared with Tokyo. Foreign professionals usually need an appropriate work visa, commonly sponsored by their employer; requirements depend on qualifications, job duties, and nationality. Before relocating, arrange a residence card, registered address, health insurance, pension enrollment, banking, housing, and tax procedures. Learning practical Japanese greatly improves workplace integration and everyday life.
