Destination Guide

Japan offers strong career opportunities in technology, sales, finance, tourism, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and digital marketing. Tokyo has the largest international job market, while Osaka provides a more relaxed lifestyle with opportunities in commerce, media, technology, and hospitality. Japanese workplace culture values punctuality, preparation, teamwork, respect, and long-term relationship building. Major cities provide excellent public transport, healthcare, restaurants, and reliable infrastructure, although housing and living costs can be high. A work visa normally requires sponsorship from an employer and approval under the appropriate immigration category; qualifications and job duties must match the visa type. New arrivals should arrange residence registration, health insurance, a bank account, and mobile service. Learning Japanese greatly improves daily life and career prospects. Relocation packages vary, so candidates should confirm housing support, visa assistance, tax treatment, and moving allowances before accepting an offer.
