Job Description

Rakuten Mobile is seeking a Media Planner to plan, execute and optimize advertising campaigns that support customer acquisition, brand awareness and mobile-service growth. The role typically involves developing media strategies, managing budgets, coordinating with agencies and internal teams, analyzing campaign performance, and preparing reports and recommendations. Candidates should have practical experience in media planning, digital advertising or marketing, with strong analytical, communication and project-management skills. Knowledge of online and offline media channels, performance metrics and Japanese consumer behavior is valuable. The successful candidate is expected to work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and contribute proactively in a fast-moving telecommunications environment.
