Job Description

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across Royal Mail premises. Typical duties include cleaning offices, staff areas, toilets, corridors and operational spaces; emptying waste; replenishing supplies; and following health, safety and cleaning procedures. Candidates should be reliable, punctual and physically able to remain active during shifts, including standing, walking, bending and lifting light equipment or materials. Previous cleaning experience is useful but may not be essential. The role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, respect for colleagues and the ability to work independently while meeting agreed standards. Flexibility may be expected for early mornings, evenings, weekends or varied shift patterns.
