Job Description

The Cleaner role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across Royal Mail premises, including offices, communal areas, washrooms and operational spaces. Typical duties include cleaning floors and surfaces, emptying bins, replenishing supplies, following safe working procedures and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Candidates should be dependable, physically capable of standing and moving for extended periods, able to work independently and willing to follow instructions and health and safety requirements. Previous cleaning experience is useful but may not always be essential. The role requires good timekeeping, attention to detail, a professional attitude and flexibility, as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends or bank holidays depending on the site.
