The Finance Manager oversees hotel financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, internal controls, cash management and compliance with Marriott and local accounting standards. Candidates typically need a degree in finance, accounting or a related field, relevant hotel or hospitality finance experience, and strong knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or MIA membership are advantageous. The role requires sound analytical ability, attention to detail, confidentiality, leadership and confidence using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate is expected to partner with department heads, protect company assets, meet reporting deadlines, support audits and provide accurate financial advice to hotel management.
