Job Description

This contractor role involves providing occupational therapy assessments, interventions and practical support to people in their homes and communities across the Kāpiti Coast. Requirements typically include a New Zealand occupational therapy qualification, current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand, a current practising certificate, and a full driver licence. Experience in community-based rehabilitation, disability support, equipment assessments or working with older people is advantageous. The successful candidate should be confident working independently, managing a varied caseload, writing clear clinical documentation and collaborating with clients, whānau, healthcare professionals and support agencies. Strong communication, cultural awareness, organisation and a commitment to person-centred care are expected.
