Company Info

Jumeirah Olhahali Island Maldives is a luxury all-villa resort operated by Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, part of Dubai Holding. Located in the North Malé Atoll, the resort is known for its contemporary design, private pool villas, ocean views and personalized hospitality. Its offering typically includes multiple dining experiences, wellness facilities, water activities and curated guest services designed for an international luxury market. As part of the Jumeirah brand, the resort places strong emphasis on warm Arabian hospitality, refined service, memorable food and beverage experiences, and high operational standards. Destination Guide

Working in the Maldives offers strong opportunities in luxury resorts, especially in culinary, hospitality, wellness, marine activities and guest services. Resort islands are multicultural workplaces, with employees from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Life is peaceful and surrounded by beaches, lagoons and marine wildlife, but can feel remote; staff accommodation, shared facilities and limited shopping are common. Maldivian culture is predominantly Muslim, so respectful dress and behavior are expected outside resort areas, and alcohol is generally restricted to licensed tourist resorts. Foreign employees normally require an employer-sponsored Employment Approval and work permit; the employer usually manages the application, medical checks and documentation. Contracts commonly include accommodation, meals, return flights or airfare allowances, and medical coverage, but terms vary. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, leave, internet access and evacuation arrangements before relocating.
