Company Info

TA AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Labuan Bajo is a high-end Marriott-affiliated hospitality property in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. The Luxury Collection brand focuses on distinctive destinations, personalized service and locally inspired guest experiences. Located near the dramatic landscapes and marine attractions of Flores, the resort is designed to serve leisure travelers, destination-event guests and visitors exploring Komodo National Park. Its food-and-beverage teams support restaurants, bars, banquets and resort events while maintaining international service standards. Employees can expect a multicultural workplace, structured operating procedures and opportunities to develop within Marriott International’s global hospitality network. Exact benefits, accommodation arrangements, service-charge distribution and employment terms depend on the position and local contract, so candidates should confirm these details directly with the recruiting team.

Destination Guide

Labuan Bajo is a coastal town on Flores Island and a gateway to Komodo National Park. Hospitality, restaurants, diving, boat tours, wellness, transport and resort development provide the strongest job opportunities, especially for people with English and customer-service skills. Local culture blends Catholic Flores traditions with Indonesian customs, while nearby communities retain strong family, craft and maritime traditions. Life is relaxed but facilities are smaller than in Bali or Jakarta; expect tropical weather, a close-knit community and higher prices for some imported goods. Employees should research housing, transport and healthcare before relocating. Foreign nationals must obtain an employer-sponsored work authorization and the appropriate Indonesian work and stay permits; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Confirm sponsorship, accommodation, flights, insurance and contract terms before arrival. Indonesia’s regulations can change, so check with the employer and the Indonesian immigration authorities.
