Job Description

The Commis 1 (Pastry) supports the pastry team with preparing breads, cakes, desserts, chocolates and other baked items according to Marriott standards. Requirements typically include basic pastry or culinary training, food-safety knowledge, good hygiene, and some kitchen experience, although suitable hospitality graduates may be considered. The candidate is expected to follow recipes accurately, maintain consistent quality and presentation, organise ingredients, keep work areas clean, and assist with receiving and storing supplies. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential.
