Company Info

Le Royal Méridien Place Vendôme Lusail is a luxury Marriott International hotel located within Place Vendôme Qatar, a major retail, dining, entertainment, and waterfront destination in Lusail. The property combines contemporary design with the elegant, art-focused identity associated with the Le Royal Méridien brand. It serves leisure travellers, corporate guests, groups, meetings, and social events, with premium accommodation, restaurants, event facilities, and lifestyle amenities. As part of Marriott International, the hotel operates within one of the world’s largest hospitality networks, offering structured standards, international career mobility, learning resources, and employee benefits that vary by position and local policy. Its sales team works closely with businesses, travel agencies, event organisers, and Marriott’s wider commercial network to attract local and international demand.

Destination Guide

Qatar is a compact Gulf country rather than an island, with Doha and Lusail forming the main employment centres. Hospitality opportunities are strongest in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism, aviation, and retail, supported by major international developments and business travel. The culture is welcoming but conservative: modest dress, respect for Islamic customs, and sensitivity during Ramadan are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, desert excursions, malls, museums, international dining, and a growing sports and entertainment scene. Most expatriate employees enter on an employer-sponsored work visa, with the company usually arranging residence permits, medical checks, and documentation. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, flights, insurance, and annual leave are included in the offer. Living costs can be high, especially for housing, although Lusail offers modern apartments and convenient amenities. A written contract and verified employer sponsorship are essential before relocating.
