Destination Guide

Bali offers strong opportunities in resorts, hotels, restaurants, wellness, events, tourism sales, and guest services, with major employment centers in Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud. The culture blends Balinese Hindu traditions, ceremonies, dance, crafts, and community life, so respectful dress and behavior are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches and surfing to yoga, hiking, cafés, and vibrant expatriate communities. Living costs vary: southern resort areas are convenient but generally more expensive than inland locations. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored Indonesian work permit and appropriate work visa; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers usually guide the KITAS process, health checks, and documentation. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, insurance, relocation support, tax treatment, and visa sponsorship before accepting an offer.
