Job Description

The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, food quality, menu execution, cost control and team performance. Requirements typically include formal culinary training, substantial experience in luxury hotels or high-end restaurants, strong knowledge of international cuisine, HACCP and food-safety standards, and proven leadership skills. The successful candidate is expected to supervise chefs and stewarding teams, maintain consistent presentation and portion standards, manage ordering and inventory, control labor and food costs, and ensure smooth service across outlets and events. Flexibility, creativity, organization, resilience and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Experience with Marriott or other international hotel systems is advantageous.
