The role requires professional kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel or high-volume banquet environment, sound knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and HACCP procedures, and the ability to follow recipes and portion controls. Candidates should be organised, physically fit, creative, reliable and comfortable working under pressure during conferences, weddings and large events. Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills are expected, together with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. A culinary qualification and experience in the relevant kitchen section are advantageous.
