Job Description

The Steward supports the kitchen and food and beverage teams by washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining storerooms, removing rubbish and keeping work areas hygienic and organized. Requirements typically include the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment, follow food-safety and workplace-health procedures, perform physically demanding tasks and work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Previous hotel, restaurant or stewarding experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to be reliable, cooperative, safety-conscious, well presented and willing to assist colleagues. Strong attention to cleanliness, punctuality and a positive attitude are particularly important.
