As part of Marriott International’s global hotel portfolio, the resort is expected to operate under internationally recognized standards for guest service, accommodation, food and beverage, meetings, wellness and resort experiences. Its location in southern Sumatra provides access to Lampung’s beaches, nature attractions, cultural destinations and growing regional business activity. Destination Guide

Indonesia offers hospitality, tourism, sales, engineering, culinary and wellness opportunities across islands such as Java, Bali, Sumatra, Lombok and Sulawesi. Lampung, on Sumatra’s southern tip, has a more relaxed and affordable lifestyle than Jakarta or Bali, with access to beaches, national parks, diving areas and Mount Krakatau excursions. Local culture is diverse, community-oriented and strongly influenced by Indonesian, Malay and Javanese traditions. Candidates should expect tropical weather, traffic in urban areas and a mix of modern facilities and quieter regional living. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored work visa and work permit, with the company handling immigration compliance; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Relocation planning should include accommodation, health insurance, tax registration, banking, transportation and dependent arrangements. Indonesian language skills are useful, while English is important in international hotels.
