Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, with a broad portfolio of internationally recognised brands and hotels across numerous countries. Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a strong destination for hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, and business-development careers, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although the UAE is not an island, Dubai’s coastal lifestyle and Palm Jumeirah provide beaches, water activities, restaurants, shopping, and year-round entertainment. The culture is multicultural and respectful, with Islamic traditions shaping public behaviour, dress expectations, and important holidays. Summers are extremely hot, while winter offers comfortable outdoor conditions. Employers commonly provide a work permit, residence visa, medical insurance, and sometimes accommodation, transport, or flight benefits; the exact package should be confirmed before accepting an offer. Employees normally cannot work on a tourist visa, and the sponsoring employer handles the employment visa process. Relocation costs, deposits, school fees, and daily expenses in Dubai can be high, so candidates should review the full compensation package carefully.
