Destination Guide

Thailand offers varied hospitality opportunities in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, and other resort destinations. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, wellness, events, tourism, sales, and guest services, with stronger seasonal demand in beach locations. Thai culture values politeness, respect, family, and flexibility; learning basic Thai is helpful in daily life and at work. Living costs vary, with Chiang Mai generally more affordable than Phuket or Koh Samui. Thailand’s islands provide beaches, diving, boating, and relaxed lifestyles, while Chiang Mai offers mountains, temples, cafés, and a large international community. Foreign employees normally need a Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit sponsored by their employer before working legally. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, insurance, service charge, relocation support, and visa responsibilities in writing before accepting an offer.
