Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Abu Dhabi is an island city connected to the mainland and surrounded by coastal areas. Hospitality offers many opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, aviation, and tourism, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international expatriate community; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, malls, desert excursions, cultural attractions, and an active dining scene, although summer heat is intense. Employers normally arrange an employment entry permit and residence visa after hiring, with medical checks and Emirates ID registration required. Many hotel roles include accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, and annual leave, but benefits vary by contract. Candidates should confirm salary, working hours, gratuity, accommodation, recruitment fees, and visa sponsorship in writing before relocating.
