Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in running the associate restaurant kitchen, preparing consistent, high-quality meals for resort colleagues. Requirements typically include culinary training, several years of professional kitchen experience, strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene, and the ability to supervise a multicultural team. The successful candidate is expected to organize daily production, maintain quality and presentation standards, control food waste, monitor stock, follow HACCP procedures, and assist with menu preparation. Flexibility, teamwork, leadership, good communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. Experience in a luxury hotel or resort, particularly in an employee dining operation, is highly desirable.
