Job Description

The Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor oversees stewarding operations, including dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, waste handling, equipment care and safe storage of supplies. The role typically requires previous experience in kitchen stewarding, hospitality or a similar supervisory position, along with knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards. The successful candidate should be organised, physically capable, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Strong communication and team leadership skills are expected, as well as the ability to train staff, allocate duties, monitor standards and support chefs and food-and-beverage teams. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
