Job Description

The Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting supports the Director of Finance in managing hotel accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash control, audits, internal controls and compliance with Japanese regulations and Marriott standards. Candidates are expected to have relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or international hospitality environment, strong knowledge of Japanese accounting practices, excellent analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in Japanese and English. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, sound judgment, teamwork and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume operation. Experience with hotel finance systems and professional accounting qualifications would be advantageous.
