Company Info

Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront resort in Phang Nga, operated under the Le Méridien brand of Marriott International. The property combines contemporary design with local Thai influences and serves leisure travelers, families, groups and event guests. Its operations typically include accommodation, restaurants and bars, meeting and event facilities, a spa, swimming pools and recreational services. As part of Marriott International, the resort follows established global standards for guest service, food safety, training and professional development. Employees may receive benefits such as service charge, meals, uniforms, staff accommodation or transport, insurance and access to Marriott career opportunities, depending on the employment package. Exact benefits and salary should be confirmed directly with the resort during recruitment.

Destination Guide

Khao Lak is a relaxed coastal destination in Phang Nga, close to beautiful islands and national parks rather than being an island itself. Nearby attractions include the Similan and Surin Islands, Phang Nga Bay, Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park and local beaches. Resort jobs are commonly available in food and beverage, housekeeping, front office, culinary, spa, engineering, events and guest activities. The lifestyle is quieter and less expensive than Phuket, with a strong local community, seafood markets and an international tourism scene. Thai culture values politeness, respect, family and calm communication; modest dress and respectful temple behavior are important. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting work. Employers often assist with documentation, but requirements can change, so candidates should confirm details with the Thai embassy and resort. Relocation planning should include housing, transport, insurance and rainy-season conditions.
