Job Description

The Peppina Host welcomes guests, manages reservations and seating, coordinates table flow, and helps create a smooth dining experience. The role requires strong communication, polished presentation, organisation, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm during busy service periods. Previous experience in restaurant hosting, reservations or front-of-house hospitality is preferred. Candidates should be confident using reservation systems, familiar with quality service standards and available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. A warm, professional manner and a genuine interest in Tasmanian food and hospitality are important. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively with restaurant and hotel teams while representing The Tasman and Marriott Luxury Collection standards.
