Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates rather than an island, with strong employment opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, finance, technology, healthcare, and construction. Dubai and Abu Dhabi offer the largest corporate markets, while Sharjah provides a more family-oriented and often more affordable lifestyle. UAE culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respectful public behavior, and awareness of Ramadan customs are important. The country offers modern infrastructure, warm weather, beaches, shopping, and extensive dining and leisure options, although summers are extremely hot. Employees usually require employer-sponsored residence and work visas, with medical checks and Emirates ID registration. Employers often assist with visa processing, accommodation, transport, insurance, and relocation. Candidates should confirm salary, housing, flights, gratuity, probation, and working hours before accepting an offer.
