Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers strong hospitality job opportunities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and other tourism destinations. Hotels, resorts, restaurants, attractions, airports, and event companies regularly recruit housekeeping, food service, front office, engineering, and guest-relations staff. UAE culture combines Arab traditions with a highly international working environment; respectful dress, punctuality, and consideration for local customs are important. Dubai South provides a quieter, developing lifestyle than central Dubai, with access to shopping, beaches, restaurants, and public transport by car or bus. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, arrange medical checks, and may provide accommodation, transport, insurance, and meals. Employees must not work on a tourist visa and should receive a formal offer before relocating. Costs vary considerably, so confirm housing, overtime, leave, probation, and benefits in writing.
