The Sales Specialist will develop and manage business from the Indian market for Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel. Candidates are expected to have hotel sales, travel trade, tourism, or related commercial experience, ideally with knowledge of the Indian outbound travel market. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and networking skills are important. Company Info

Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel is a large international resort hotel located in Urayasu, Chiba, beside Tokyo Disney Resort and within easy reach of central Tokyo. It operates under the Sheraton brand, part of Marriott International, one of the world's largest hospitality companies. The hotel serves leisure travelers, international tourists, families, groups, and corporate guests, offering extensive accommodation, dining, meeting, banquet, and resort facilities. Marriott emphasizes professional service, inclusion, ethical conduct, guest satisfaction, and opportunities for employee development across its global hotel network. In this role, the hotel would be looking for someone who can strengthen relationships with Indian travel partners and increase international demand, while working closely with revenue management, reservations, events, front office, and operations teams.

Destination Guide

Japan offers opportunities in hotels, tourism, restaurants, technology, education, manufacturing, and international business. Tokyo and nearby Chiba provide a busy, multicultural lifestyle, efficient public transport, excellent healthcare, and many dining and entertainment choices, although housing and commuting can be costly. Japanese workplace culture values punctuality, respect, teamwork, careful communication, and attention to detail. English is useful in international hotels, while Japanese ability greatly improves daily life and career progression. Foreign employees normally need an appropriate work visa, commonly an Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa for hotel sales, supported by the employer. Applicants should confirm sponsorship, salary, working hours, housing assistance, tax, and insurance before accepting an offer. Relocating usually involves securing accommodation, registering an address, arranging a residence card, opening a bank account, and joining Japan's health and pension systems.
