Job Description

The Night Auditor – Guest Service Expert supports overnight hotel operations by completing daily financial audits, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, balancing cash, and assisting guests at the front desk. Requirements typically include previous hotel reception, night audit, or accounting experience; strong numerical and computer skills; attention to detail; and the ability to work independently overnight. Candidates should provide warm, professional service, handle arrivals, departures, guest requests, and emergencies calmly, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with the morning team. Availability for overnight, weekend, and public-holiday shifts is expected. Knowledge of hotel property-management systems and relevant Australian work rights is advantageous.
