The Steward supports kitchen and food-and-beverage operations by cleaning dishes, cookware, utensils, equipment, and work areas; sorting and removing waste; replenishing supplies; and following hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. The role typically requires a willingness to perform physically demanding work, stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Previous stewarding, kitchen, or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential. Candidates are expected to be dependable, hardworking, team-oriented, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced hotel setting. Good communication and a professional attitude are important, as is compliance with Marriott service and food-safety procedures.
