Job Description

The Event Executive supports the planning and delivery of meetings, weddings, conferences and other functions at Pier One Sydney Harbour. Requirements typically include hospitality or events experience, strong organisation and communication skills, attention to detail, confidence dealing with clients and suppliers, and the ability to manage several events at once. Experience with event systems, proposals, contracts and budgets is beneficial. The successful candidate is expected to provide warm, professional service, coordinate effectively with food and beverage and operations teams, resolve issues promptly, and help ensure every event meets Marriott brand and guest-service standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
