The Commis III – Staff Cafe supports daily food preparation and service for hotel associates. Typical requirements include basic culinary knowledge, food-safety awareness, good hygiene, the ability to follow recipes and instructions, and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Previous kitchen, cafeteria or hospitality experience is helpful but entry-level candidates with relevant training may be considered. The candidate is expected to prepare ingredients accurately, maintain clean and organized work areas, follow Marriott and resort standards, control waste, use kitchen equipment safely and cooperate with chefs and other departments. Reliability, teamwork, a positive attitude and the physical ability to stand for long periods are important.
