Destination Guide

Indonesia offers varied hospitality opportunities across Bali, Nusa Lembongan, Lombok, the Gili Islands, Java, Flores and other resort destinations. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, diving, wellness, guest services, sales, engineering and management. Island communities are generally friendly and multicultural, with strong local traditions, religious ceremonies and close community relationships; respectful dress and behavior are important. Lifestyle can be relaxed and outdoor-focused, but smaller islands may have limited healthcare, shopping, transport and reliable internet. Foreign nationals usually need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly arranged through the company, and must not work on a tourist visa. Relocating to Nusa Lembongan involves boat transfers from Bali, limited housing choices and seasonal logistical challenges. Candidates should confirm accommodation, meals, insurance, service charge, transport, visa sponsorship and contract terms before accepting an offer.
