Job Description

The Steward Supervisor oversees daily kitchen stewarding operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, waste handling, equipment sanitation, storage areas, and hygiene standards. The role typically requires previous experience in kitchen stewarding or hotel operations, supervisory ability, knowledge of food-safety and sanitation procedures, and the physical stamina to work on foot in a busy environment. The successful candidate should be organized, dependable, hands-on, and able to train and motivate team members. They are expected to coordinate effectively with chefs and service departments, monitor cleaning schedules, control supplies, maintain safe working practices, and ensure Marriott cleanliness standards are consistently met. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required.
