Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and other resort destinations, especially in hotels, restaurants, events, wellness and tourism sales. The culture is welcoming and relationship-focused, with respect, politeness and flexibility highly valued at work. Lifestyle ranges from busy city living in Bangkok to a slower, outdoor-oriented life on the islands, with beaches, markets, temples and excellent food. Phuket and Koh Samui generally have higher living costs than smaller towns, while Bangkok offers better transport and broader career options. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting work; requirements vary by nationality and position. Employers often assist with documentation, but candidates should confirm sponsorship, salary, accommodation, insurance and tax arrangements. Thailand’s tropical climate, seasonal tourism demand and local workplace customs should be considered before relocating.
