Company Info

Qabila Westbay Hotel is an upscale hotel in Doha’s West Bay district, an area known for modern towers, business offices, shopping, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. Operating within Marriott’s international hospitality environment, the hotel serves business travelers, leisure guests, groups, and visitors attending events in Qatar. Its guest experience is supported by accommodation, food and beverage outlets, meetings and events, and attentive service delivered by multicultural teams. Employees are generally expected to follow professional hospitality standards, maintain a polished appearance, and provide warm, personalized assistance. West Bay’s location offers convenient access to Doha’s Corniche, museums, malls, Hamad International Airport, and major business areas. As with many hotels in Qatar, employment packages may include accommodation or a housing allowance, transportation, meals, medical insurance, and annual leave benefits, depending on the contract and level of the position.

Destination Guide

Qatar is a compact Gulf country rather than an island, with Doha as its main employment and lifestyle center. Hospitality opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, and tourism, while other major sectors include energy, aviation, construction, healthcare, education, finance, and technology. The culture is welcoming but conservative; modest dress, respectful behavior, and sensitivity to Islamic customs are important, particularly during Ramadan. Doha offers modern malls, museums, beaches, desert excursions, international dining, gyms, and a growing public transport network. Summers are extremely hot, while winter is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored work visa, medical examination, residence permit, and Qatar ID. Confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, working hours, and probation terms before accepting an offer. Many employers provide housing or an allowance, but living costs vary considerably by neighborhood and lifestyle.
