Job Description

The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining high hygiene standards. Typical requirements include basic commercial kitchen experience or culinary training, knowledge of food safety, good organisation and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently under pressure, maintain a clean and safe workstation, support senior chefs, minimise waste and deliver consistent food quality. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is generally required. A positive attitude, teamwork, reliability and willingness to learn are highly valued.
