Job Description

The Sous Chef-Pastry supports the Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry and bakery operations, including preparation, production, presentation and quality control. The role typically requires professional culinary or pastry training and several years of experience in a hotel, resort or high-volume kitchen, with strong knowledge of baking methods, desserts, food safety and hygiene standards. The candidate should be creative, organized and comfortable supervising kitchen colleagues, planning production, controlling food costs and maintaining consistent quality. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is expected. Good communication, leadership skills and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced multicultural environment are important.
