Company Info

JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa is a luxury island resort operated by Marriott International, one of the world's largest hospitality companies. The resort offers upscale accommodation, restaurants, wellness facilities, water activities and personalized guest experiences in a tropical Maldivian setting. Its service culture emphasizes thoughtful hospitality, attention to detail, professionalism and genuine care for guests. Employees typically work in a multicultural resort environment and receive access to Marriott training, operational experience and potential international career opportunities. Depending on the employment package, resort associates may receive accommodation, meals, transport arrangements, medical support and service-charge benefits. The property seeks colleagues who are guest-focused, adaptable and committed to maintaining high luxury-hospitality standards.

Destination Guide

The Maldives offers job opportunities mainly in resorts, hotels, restaurants, diving, watersports, housekeeping, engineering, spa services and guest relations. Resort life is multicultural and structured, with employees usually living on a private staff island or resort compound rather than in a local community. Maldivian culture is friendly and respectful, with Islam shaping local customs, dress and daily life; modesty is expected outside resort areas. The lifestyle is scenic but remote, with access to beaches, snorkeling and water activities, while shopping and entertainment may be limited. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Employment Approval and work visa, arranged after a valid job offer and medical checks. Employers commonly provide accommodation, meals, airport transfers and sometimes flights or medical cover. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, contract length, visa costs, leave and relocation terms before accepting an offer.
