Job Description

The Accounts Payable role is responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving records, preparing payment runs, maintaining accurate financial records, and responding to vendor queries. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with good numerical ability and basic knowledge of accounting systems. Experience in hotel finance or accounts payable is advantageous. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy hospitality environment. The successful candidate is expected to work cooperatively with purchasing, receiving, and other departments while following Marriott financial policies and Malaysian tax and payment procedures.
