Job Description

This role manages information security and privacy governance programs within Rakuten’s ISPD Operations Section. Responsibilities likely include coordinating cross-functional initiatives, tracking risks and controls, improving security and privacy processes, preparing reports for management, and supporting compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. Candidates are expected to have substantial experience in program or project management, ideally in information security, privacy, IT governance, or risk management. Strong stakeholder coordination, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are important. Business-level Japanese and English may be required, together with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and influence teams across a large global organization.
